They look very nice, i personall like khepris ring textures in sg_conquest, with all the patterns, but your brophis are the 2nd best ive seen biggrin.gif

Yet still, i wanna see them in action first before i judge them properly :-p

The conquest rings i've seen are just plane textures or ones with the stargate outter ring texture on them! Could you post a screen?

no, i dont have sg_conquest, and yes they do have the pattern that is on the stargate, it makes it look nice!

@ brophis, the rings need 7/8 individual rings, i was watching the movie and i counted about 7/8. This makes them look better, as atm i think when they are down they are too short, only just about the size of the player models.

oh, and can't you use \stargatetc\sprites\anneaux.spr ?
And, why not, put a "tube" of light from the ceiling to the ground as soonas they are activated ? (like in the movie and sometimes in the show)

They have that on sg_stargate, and i just double checked, its 7 rings, ++ Rings should be 2 way like in the movie and in the series.

I checked out the last episode of season 7 and another and there are 5 rings, yes 5!
And as it is the top ring is above the player model!

I think the current sprite is ok. smile.gif
There is a tube of light coming from the ceiling in sg_stargate, you can see it in the room with the gate when the rings are activated.

I base the rings and stargate on the series. The movie is alot different. As for the two way thing, the rings are one-way in the series and there's no physical evidence to prove otherwise. Also it would make for lousy gameplay in my opinion. People would never find each other if they kept hiding in the rings.

From my measurements i make it that the top ring actually is above the models head, only a small detail however.
